NFT Tokenized applications on the Neblio Blockchain by VEFramework
The newest updates from the development of the VEFramework shows a revolutionary new and exciting feature, NFT Apps and decentralized App Stores. VEFramework developer, Tomas Svoboda, pointed out that this is not an app FOR NFTs but a special NFT carrier for the transfer of applications to wallet addresses. To our knowledge, we have not seen anything like it before, but certainly can fit the definition of an NFT or Tokenized application on the Neblio blockchain. Let’s take a deeper dive into this new Tokenized asset class.
The first example application demo showcased, was the Blazor application — “Minesweeper” from the repository BlazorGames (https://github.com/exceptionnotfound/BlazorGames).
An example video runs you through the whole process of buying the NFT application from a NFT app store, using the “Buy” link. This link is available once the store owner has set the price of the app. It is a simple process as you can see in this picture:

So where are these NFT applications actually stored? The application as itself can be hosted from a classic webserver, IPFS (decentralized storage solution) or filesystem. One of the main advantages of this system is in the transport of the licenses, because each NFT has a unique hash which can be signed by a private key and provide proof that the user can use the application. It also means that you do not need to remember usernames and passwords for the services/apps you usually use.
If the app is hosted on IPFS, the user can pin it on his local node and has the app on a local machine also.
The application runs in the browser environment, which provides huge security and control over what the application does. You do not need to install the app, so the process of launching and using the app is very smooth. You can use blockchain addresses to create some groups of the applications and keep it under a manageable level.
This actual published version is just a first showcase how NFT tokenized apps work in practice. Publishing apps must be done using certain developer tools so it is not for everyone to write and publish apps, but for developers it is about 1000x easier than publishing their apps via centralized app stores on desktop and mobile platforms. This breakthrough advancement of NFT and blockchain technology, being used as an app carrier, will enable millions of global freelance developers to safely build, license, deploy on the web and distribute their applications over an immutable blockchain network, with zero dependencies on third parties.
We think that this new kind of NFT use case is game changing for many developers and also highlights how blockchain and other decentralized technologies can be combined to solve some of the problems in the app licencing and distribution paradigm.
